Production of Biodegradable Polymer from Agro-Wastes in Alcaligenes sp. and Pseudomonas sp.

چکیده

The present study was aimed to evaluate the suitability of agro-wastes and crude vegetable oils for cost-effective production poly-?-hydroxybutyrate (PHB), growth kinetics PHB in Alcaligenes faecalis RZS4 Pseudomonas sp. RZS1 with these carbon substrates biodegradation accumulated by cultures. accumulates higher amounts corn (79.90% dry cell mass) rice straw (66.22% medium respectively. kinetic model suggests that follows Monod more closely than A. RZS4. Both cultures degrade their extract under influence depolymerase. Corn waste appear as best sustainable from RZS1. biopolymer organisms is biodegradable nature. are good low-cost sources nutrients other metabolites. Their use would lower cost will reduce sailing price PHB-based products. This promote large-scale commercialization popularization an ecofriendly bioplastic/biopolymer.
